User Experience Director
What’s your business?
Gomoll Research + Design It’s a small, 10-person consulting company in Milwaukee and Minneapolis named after Tom and Kate Gomoll.
What’s your biggest challenge right now?
Balancing all the time in the day with all the things there are to do.
What’s a typical work day for you?
I get up and make breakfast for my kids, then I get started on my projects. A lot of my work is writing up my analysis from user research, and working on wireframes, then collaborating with clients. I travel about 20% of the time for clients.
Why do you hang out at CoCo?
I really enjoy working at home, but there are times that my co-worker and I need to collaborate, or times I just want to get out of the house. Going to coffee shops is not always ideal, and I like the idea of having a place to hang out and get some work done.
What coworking surprises have you had so far?
Not many, it’s really been what I had hoped it would be, I love the building/atmosphere, and I enjoy the folks that hang out there too.
How can people find you on the Internets?
- kevinfarner.com
- @kevinfarner on Twitter

If you blog, what kinds of topics do you write about?
Generally user experience on my work blog; whatever strikes my fancy on my own blog.
