Essential facts
- Locations: Minneapolis and St. Paul
- CoCo was founded January 4, 2010 in our Lowertown St. Paul space.
- Our Minneapolis space, on the former trading floor of the Minneapolis Grain Exchange, opened in August 2011. This space has 20,000 sqare feet.
- Founding partners: Don Ball (Twitter: donmball) and Kyle Coolbroth (Twitter: kcoolbroth)
- According to Deskmag, there are an estimated 1,100 coworking spaces worldwide.
- Coworking began in San Francisco. It is generally accepted within the coworking movement that the first coworking space was the Hat Factory (now closed), which was founded in 2005.
- Please note that coworking is spelled without a hyphen.
