About CoCo DayCamps

CoCo hosts DayCamps on most Thursdays. Each DayCamp features a thought-provoking speaker in the morning, followed by an afternoon of coworking.

Day camps give you an opportunity to learn about what other people do for a living, how they run their businesses, why they love their jobs, and how they are making it work. Look for upcoming day camps with speakers on a variety of topics, such as business strategy, public relations, green building, graphic design and other fun topics.

About Arik Hanson
A savvy and seasoned communications professional, Arik C. Hanson, APR, is principal of ACH Communications, a digital communications firm focused on serving as strategic thought partners to financial services, health care, not-for-profit and other organizations. Through integrated PR, communications and digital programs, Arik has been able to create tight-knit communities, build strong brand awareness and drive thought leadership for organizations across the country. Arik has played a lead role in many social projects and initiatives online–both locally and nationally.

About the speaker
Michael Anschel (@michaelanschel) is heavily involved in the Green Building movement. He led the Green Remodeling Group in the development of MN GreenStar Certified Green Homes and Remodeling, considered by some to be the most progressive and rigorous green residential building standard in the US. After serving as interim director, he works to facilitate the adoption and incorporation of Green building techniques into the entire Residential construction industry.

Michael is also the owner and principal of Otogawa-Anschel Design-Build, L.L.C., a nationally recognized award-winning design-build firm that focuses on older residential homes. Otogawa-Anschel Design-Build has been dedicated to Green building for over a decade. They were the recipient of the first National Green Remodeling Chrysalis Award, and the first MN COTY Award for sustainable remodeling.

Michael has served on the Board of Directors for NARI of MN and the City of Lakes Rotary. He is a Contributor to and has been featured in the Journal of Light Construction, Remodeling,
